Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Jona graduated from Syracuse University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Rhetorical Studies. She obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University in 2001. Her graduate work at Syracuse University was completed in 2004 with a Master of Science in Nursing for a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She later finalized her studies at Gannon University graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2023. Her certification is through the AANP organization. Jona has previously practiced in Urology, Gynecology, and Gerontology. She has also taught nursing students in an adjunct capacity at a local college.
Jona has two children and lives in the Syracuse area. She is pleased to join AMP as a Urology provider.
