Daniel Alvarez Valero, MD, is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist dedicated to advancing minimally invasive patient care. Following his surgical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he completed his Interventional Radiology residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
He is currently focused on state-of-the-art outpatient treatments—most notably prostate artery embolization, venous leak embolization, and musculoskeletal embolotherapy. His comprehensive clinical expertise extends to complex image-guided tumor ablations, Y90 radioembolization, trauma care, and pulmonary thrombectomy.
A recognized leader and educator, he is an award-winning clinician and published researcher with presentations at global conferences, including the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Global Embolization Symposium & Technologies.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, he brings innovation, technical precision, and compassionate care to every patient he treats.
