Board Certified Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Proulx completed premedical undergraduate degree work at Columbia University in Math- Biophysics, then received his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He furthered his education at Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital by completing a residency and fellowship in Radiation Oncology. His specialty training continued with electronic brachytherapy and high dose rate brachytherapy.
His extensive education and training led him to a robust career as an Army Captain and Physician in the National Guard, Medical Director Exeter Hospital/Harvard Affiliate, Exeter, NH, Medical Director/Chairman of Radiation Oncology Guthrie Hospital, Sayre, PA, Associate Professor and Radiation Clinical and Research Director, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Principal Investigator on Research Studies for National Cancer Institute studies: RTOG; and Core GI and GU committee member, Principal Investigator on Research Studies for CALGB and GU Core Committee Member, ASTRO Government Relations Subcommittee, as well as numerous research publications, lecturer, and author.
Dr. Proulx has several professional memberships such as, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Brachytherapy Society, American Radium Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Radiology & Radiation Therapy Oncology Group.
