Dr. Sood is a board certified Radiation Oncologist. His practice focus is on patient centered care. His interests include stereotactic radiosurgery, image guided radiotherapy, IMRT and brachytherapy for prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, brain, spine and gynecological as well as skin cancers.

Dr. Sood has served at Strong Memorial Hospital Rochester New York, Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center Bronx New York, Weill Cornell/ Columbia Medical Center New York, in addition to serving as an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical Center and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia before joining as a director of the Fox Chase/ Pinnacle Health Cancer Center program and Director of radiation oncology/brachytherapy at Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He also served as a Medical Director at Mohawk Valley Healthcare System prior to joining Associated Medical Professionals of NY.

Dr. Sood earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from University of Ranchi and completed a residency in surgical oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai India. He completed a fellowship in pediatric surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer Center and residency in radiation oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
