Dr. Joel Bass graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1984. He completed his surgical and urological training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He went on to complete a fellowship in Female Urology, Urodynamics and Prosthetics at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Bass specializes in the treatment of female and male urinary incontinence and female urology including pelvic floor reconstruction. Dr. Bass is also active in clinical research, with multiple ongoing clinical trials investigating urinary incontinence, benign prostatic hypertrophy, and prostate cancer.
Dr. Bass has been certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association. He has authored or co-authored articles in the Urologic Clinics of North America and other urologic publications.
